It’s about that time. It’s time to do something. It’s time to make a change.
The Eo3 nation is accustomed to rising to any challenge. It’s who we are, it’s what we do. The first, and hardest, challenge laid out at Eo3 was “The Garage Gym WOD Challenge“. I threw down the gauntlet on that one, and few have been able to pick it up.
Quick shout out on that challenge: I just received an email from a Marine, a Master Sergeant, who is currently deployed in Afghanistan, and he told me one of the officers he is deployed with just completed The Garage Gym WOD Challenge!! Congrats to that guy for completing the challenge, and completing it while deployed, nonetheless. Amazing! He also said they would be hitting up the Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer Workout later this month, and I can’t wait to hear how it goes for them.

Another infamous, and crazy hard, challenge at End of Three Fitness is the 50,000 LB. One Day Challenge…another tough Eo3 ringer. So what’s next??
A two-tiered announcement…more challenges:
1.) I will be throwing down the gauntlet again on Thanksgiving Day 2012! I won’t hint to what the workout challenge will be, just know it will be an Eo3-sized challenge.
2.) I am well aware that most people cannot complete these challenges, they are not for everyone. They take a great deal of strength, work capacity and dedication. I encourage people to set the challenges as goals, and not to be discouraged if you cannot complete them…yet.
However, I have would like to help get you there!! That is why I am announcing the start of the first ever Eo3 6-week challenge.
6-Week Challenge Details:
You may be asking, why a 6-week challenge during the holidays?
Answer: Because you are a part of Eo3, and members of Eo3 DON’T SUCK during the holidays…you get better. I am not saying be perfect during the holidays. I am sure I’ll have a drink or two and eat way too much food at some point…but…I’ll still be hitting it hard! In an effort to make you better, make sure you don’t suck during the holidays and to help you complete some of the challenges here at Eo3, we are going to get you trained.
How it works:
Pretty simple, I announced End of Three FIT not long ago and the fact that it will now have a daily WOD, amongst other things. Read more about it here or just check out the site here. Anyway, here is how the challenge will work…
- Today – Do the baseline workout. (record your results in the comments at Eo3 FIT)
- For 6 weeks – Do the programming (follow the WODs) at EndofThreeFIT.com.
- 6 weeks from now – Do the baseline workout again and measure your progress.
Baseline Workout
For Time:
- 500 m Row
- 40 Bodyweight Squat
- 30 Ab Mat Situps
- 20 Push Ups
- 10 Pullups

Pretty easy, right??
Now go out there and complete the baseline workout!! Then let’s all get better over the next 6 weeks! I will be doing the workout tomorrow and posting my time in the End of Three FIT comments.
