End of Three Fitness defined:
The Revolution of Fitness Nonconformity where we are making Better Humans everyday
You are either reading this through your email, your favorite reader via RSS feed or maybe you check End of Three Fitness regularly. Whether one or all I would like to THANK YOU for all of your support in helping End of Three Fitness grow!
World domination doesn’t come easy; there are a lot of battles, plans and projects that must happen to keep The Revolution going.
That’s where you come in and I need your help.
There are a lot of projects going on behind the scenes at Eo3 and today I want to share some of those projects – and get your feedback. Here they are – I call them “Nonconformity Projects”.
The Fallen Hero Project
This is a project I have been working on, off and on, almost since Eo3 started last October. It was an idea that needed time to mold and shape. I started the project and stopped then decided it needed more direction, more cause and more effort.
Now, the behind-the-scenes of the project are coming alive and the direction is there. There are still a few details and logistics I have to workout, but it’s firm enough to announce to my readers.
The (tentative) details:
- Purpose: Raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project and honor fallen heroes
- The project will launch November 11, 2012 (Veterans Day)
- The project will end May 27, 2013 (Memorial Day)
- Goal: We (Eo3 Nation), and anyone else who it gets shared to, will shoot for goals* of: reps, weight lifted, and meters ran over a 6 month time period, collectively.
*Numbers are still being estimated but you can expect reps to be in the 100’s of thousands, weight lifted to be in the millions and meter ran to be somewhere in between.
The only way your reps, weight or meters will be counted will be by completing CrossFit Hero workouts (currently 87 workouts). My pledge will be to complete all 87 in 6 months, you could do one, five, or 28 in the six months.
After completing a workout you will go to The Fallen Hero Project website (launch in November) and enter your name and the workout you completed. That’s it! Your totals will be automatically calculated based off of the workout you completed and then they will be added to the overall total.
Whether you CrossFit or not, a pledge to complete at least one of these workouts in remembrance of a fallen hero is a small pledge in comparison to the sacrifice they made.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Project: One Man One Barbell
One Man One Barbell comes from years of training alone in my garage with only one barbell. I never found a program that could fully suit my needs (or lack of equipment). I needed simplicity but I also needed effectiveness. I tried a lot of programs that came close, but none fully provided me with what I wanted, so I made my own.
I have run through just about every single strength program out there. It has been a fun journey and I have learned a lot, but I always had mental limitations. I never thought I would have a 500 lb. deadlift or a 450 lb. squat. I just figured I wasn’t that guy. I didn’t want to be a meathead who was crazy strong, but couldn’t run to the end of the street and back without gasping for breath. Thinking this way made me think I could never be strong.
Now, I am stronger than I ever thought (personally) possible. I am not a competitive lifter and I don’t plan to be. However, I have been able to lift a quarter ton off of the ground and still run a sub 6 minute mile in the same day. That is the kind of strength program I wanted – and that is the kind of strength program I have created.
I wanted a strength program that would fit into an overall fitness routine. So when I set out to make my own strength program I had few simple rules:
- The strength program had to be able to be done in 45 min. or less – where I could still work on other conditioning.
- The strength program had to work!! I had to get noticeably stronger without feeling like I was just ‘maintaining’ my strength.
- I couldn’t see a decreased performance in strength or conditioning – if I did tweaks would have to be made.
This will be the first eBook from Eo3 that will cost money (don’t worry Eo3 members will get 30-40% off the first week of release). I still have plans to publish more and more free eBooks, but I gotta do something to keep the lights on here at Eo3 :). Since it will cost money you can set your expectations quite high. This one will have pictures, videos, how-to’s, calculators, workout logs and more…like the book itself.
This program has been tested by about a dozen athletes and it works! I am really excited to release this one.
The program and information are set in stone, but I would like to ask my readers…what else??
What else would you like to see in this book/program that would make your life better?

Project: More DIY….??
As some of you may know…I am moving to Florida in a few short weeks!! So what does this mean??
More DIY!!!
I have been pretty happy in my garage lately so I haven’t created any new projects. Well this move involves a new garage and so I am thinking…new DIY projects.
Some ideas:
- How to Garage Gym Flooring
- How to build a lifting platform
- How to build a free hanging pull-up bar
These are just some ideas. What would you like to see added to the DIY Corner at Eo3??
Again 🙂 add to comments!
