Project barbell is complete!!
Today, I have a short announcement post, and if you didn’t get to participate in Project Barbell you can skip this post and read one of my personal favorites, 49 Ways to Become a Better Human.
Today, we officially conclude Project barbell and announce the winner of the FREE barbell.
First, I want to thank EVERY SINGLE person who participated in project barbell. The tweets, instagram photos, and Facebook posts were great! It was truly inspirational to see how hard everyone was working during this project.
If you are new to End of Three Fitness you may have missed this project. You can read about it in full detail HERE. But the short of:
- Lift a tank (100K lbs)
- Share it on social media using the hashtag #ProjectBarbell
- The winner gets a FREE Rogue Fitness Barbell from End of Three Fitness.
And EO3 Nation rocked this project!
I am still on my personal quest to lift 1,000,000 lbs and I am getting closer and closer to the halfway mark. I will be sharing my results more as I go along. But the cool thing is that if we all put our total poundage together we would already be in the millions upon millions of pounds lifted!
Very cool! Sodoes it end here??
The Future of Project Barbell
The short answer is….no! You have not seen the last of Project Barbell!
I don’t want to get into all the details, but let’s just say this is not last time we will be doing Project Barbell here at End of Three Fitness.
More tanks to lift and more barbells to give away!
So stick around!
Honorable Mentions
First, I want to start with the honorable mentions AND state that picking a winner was the HARDEST decision ever. So hard, in fact, that I had to refer to my panel of experts to make the final call.
The honorable mentions are by no means all inclusive, and there are hundreds of great photos between twitter, facebook and instagram. The honorable mentions are those who rocked project barbell with awesome photos and I wanted to share at least one. I highly recommend you hop on social media and search #ProjectBarbell to find some awesome shots!
Ok, with out any further delay…Project Barbell’s honorable mentions:
David
Kinda what it felt like today…#projectbarbell #OMOB #hulk press! Day 3: 2,920 lbs (press). Cumulative total: 12,580.

Broke the 100k lbs lifted tonight!!! After hitting this goal with deload weeks next week to finish the ‪#‎projectbarbell‬ contest, I put up a note on my blackboard as a good reminder that I have done this and can do it. Still shooting for the 1 million lbs and I will hit it. I really enjoy tracking the weight moved and will continue tracking throughout my OMOB training. I will keep up with my #projectbarbell posts through deload week but it feels amazing to hit and break my goal tonight!!!

Project Barbell Winner
Unfortunately, I could only pick one winner…and the winner is…drum roll please…Audrey, or awesomeaudsofsurvival on instagram!!
Audrey
Cradling my arms after #omob week 2 emom.#projectbarbell #eo3fit
There were so many cool photos and posts out there, but the above photo is the winner. If you used the hashtag #ProjectBarbell in the last month…chances are I saw it. I saw Audrey popping up often when checking out Project barbell. While some posted more than she did, I really felt like I could see the effort in all of her posts. She shared videos and photos and always had great captions. It was great to watch her really push herself in what looks like her outdoor DIY gym. Now it is time to upgrade that barbell!
Congrats Audrey!

I want to thank all who participated in Project Barbell! I wish I could give everyone a barbell, but hey you lifted 100,000 lbs, or you are getting close…which means you are a better human than you were a month ago! Which is the real purpose of this challenge.
Like I said, there are more barbells to be given away and more pounds to be lifted in the future, so be sure to stick around End of Three Fitness for the announcement of the next challenge!
Thanks again,
-Jerred
