Can you believe I actually found out how toÂ accomplishÂ all of these things!?!? It seems a bit crazy, I know. But if you follow the two simple steps listed below you will meet any of those goals. Even if your goal is different I am a sure these steps will help you achieve whatever it is that you are after.
Everyone feels like education is for reading, writing, andÂ arithmetic. If you want to achieve anything in this world you are going to need to educate yourself. Start educating yourself today. Learn about nutrition and fitness, check out my Resources page.
Take nothing at face value. Understand the why before you ever get to the how. If someone gives you a running program, don’t just do the steps. Ask why are the steps laid out this way, why is that wayÂ effectiveÂ asÂ comparedÂ to other ways, and realize a lot of people are full of shit.
This is a very important step in my two-step program. Yes, you are going to have to work your ass off. I do apologize if I offend anyone here, but being able to read while you are “working out” is wrong. And if you don’t read sub reading for talking on the phone, watching tv, talking to your friends, etc…
Where else in life do you expect to give 30% of your attention and receive 100% results. Nowhere. Why would your fitness goals be any different. If you could apply the same mental focus you have in other aspects of your life to fitness, just a few times a week, you wouldÂ achieve anything you wanted.
It is no secret that fitness programs like P90X and CrossFit work, and they work very well. While very different fitness routines, the basic ideology of working your ass off from start to finish is the same. Thus, you see resultsÂ every time.
Bonus Step: Supplements and Secret Workout Tips
98% of the supplement industry is bullshit. I took A LOT of supplements for a LONG time. Always thought that was what I was supposed to do. Then I educated myself (see step 1) and realized I didn’t need any of it. I came off of everything, lost zero strength and I still continue to get stronger AND my kidneys and liver will forever thank me. There is no pill or magic drink that is going to help you. Just get that out of your head right now. Educate your self and work hard.
Secret workout tips. Lose 30 pounds in 10 days, Add 50 lbs. to your bench press in three weeks, or Run a marathon in a month…You’ve seen programs like these. Rule of thumb here: If it sounds too good to be true, IT IS. I just saved you hundreds of dollars. Now I am not saying there are not good workout programs out there.
The programs you SHOULD look at:
1.) They in a large way try to educate you about nutrition and fitness, as a baseline
2.) They have realistic projections and progressions
3.) It reliesÂ on the basic principle of working your ass off

538 words and you still don’t get it. The funny thing is that some of you reading this are disappointed in what I just told you. From the title you may have thought I just uncovered some great secret. You wanted the secret program or the new pill. It saddens me that some of you will shrug this off as a stupid blog post. Well to those of you still on the quest for that fitness secret and decide my suggestions are bullshit. Let me know what you find. I’ll be busy educating myself, working my ass off, and achieving my goals.
