Interrupting our regularly scheduled programming

Interrupting our regularly scheduled programming

2012-12-10 By Jerred Moon

I have a confession to make.

I spent entirely way too much time hanging out with my amazing wife and son (that’s me and William above from yesterday), AND finalizing One Man One Barbell, that I do not have a great lengthy post to share with all you Eo3 Enders.

But it’s ok! Let’s take a break from our regularly scheduled programming for…

Announcements:

One Man One Barbell

If you follow me on twitter, instagram, like Eo3 on Facebook or even check out Eo3Fit regularly I don’t doubt that you have already heard of One Man One Barbell (multiple times…sorry). I’m just super excited for this one!

In short, the scheduled launch is January 3, 2013 (if the world doesn’t end), and if you want to get the pre-release discount, you need to go to OneManOneBarbell and sign up.

Sign up where? Sign up here 🙂

If you haven’t heard of One Man One Barbell (book/guide), here it is in less than 100 words:

Highly effective strength training…for the other guy. The other guy is me (you), or the person who wants to be really strong but also good at everything else. Over a year’s worth of planning, research and testing. Tested on multiple individuals, and not a single negative report (nobody got weaker). In fact, people got A LOT stronger. Best strength program out there for getting strong while also having the time to improve in other areas (conditioning). Oh, and yes, you only need a barbell (+plates).

Ladies, the title is One Man One Barbell to describe the origin of its creation (me and my barbell), works for women too :).

Fallen Hero Project

If you look at the numbers above, that is the current progress of the Fallen Hero Project.

The goals are 5,000,000 pounds, 500,000 meters and 50,000 reps…and we already achieved the total reps!!

However, things are starting to slow down at the FHP. If every member of Eo3 did a Hero WOD today, we would be done, today. I know not all people can complete Hero WODs, so that is not my expectation. But if you can, go out there and do one more, I would greatly appreciate it, but don’t forget to submit to the FHP site.

So if you haven’t heard of the Fallen Hero Project, here it is in WAY less than 100 words:

The purpose of the Fallen Hero Project is to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project and honor fallen heroes. The project will run from November 11, 2012 (Veterans Day) to May 27, 2013 (Memorial Day). The goal is to collectively complete 5,000,000 pounds lifted, 500,000 meters ran/rowed and 50,000 reps completed.

I really appreciate the overwhelming support that has come in from this! Thanks to all! We can do it.

###

Well that’s about it for announcements. The first ever six-week challenge doesn’t have much longer now, then we will be off to the next six-week challenge :).

A lot going on here at Eo3, THANK YOU for being a part of it!

If you have any questions, comments or concerns about, well, anything never hesitate to shoot me an email.
