All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the garage mathlete podcast Jerred. Moon here with Joe Courtney. What’s up, Joe?
Joe Courtney
How’s it going, Jared?
Jerred Moon
It’s going great. We’re doing something new today. It’s an ask you something. And by you, I mean the listener. And it’s not anything. It’s a very particular thing. So it’s something we’re asking the listener one question,
Joe Courtney
all rhetorical.
Jerred Moon
Yeah. You answer the questions we ask. In your mind, as you’re listening to this, whatever you’re doing. We are talking about the Murph burner track a little bit. We’ve talked about it on the podcast already, but we’re gonna talk about it more. And because very important, so the Murph burn track, the quick what it is what we’re doing the Murph burner track is $7, very nominal fee there. It’s not even really fee, it’s donation. $7, and you get access to four weeks of Murph programming. And you get it, you can have a PDF to download the programming. You also get to use the track in the app in team builder, just like you would any other tracks. And it is meant to support you in doing really well and the workout come Memorial Day. And that’s the programming side of it. The not programming side of it is you get to support an awesome charity, the special operations were foundation. So that is what the Murph burner track is that I cover the basics of the Murph burner track there, Joe.
Joe Courtney
I think so. It starts so as a publishing this, on this as a publishing data, this workouts, the Harper track will start the following Monday, which is may 3.
Jerred Moon
Yes. So starts may 3, and runs for four weeks, ends with the Murph, the official Murph workout on May 31. And I think we did get one question which I’m not supposed to be asking, answering questions. I’m supposed to be asking questions. So get to that in a second. But uh, is it just gonna be Murph every day? And the answer is no. Okay, so now the questions for the listeners, it’s one question will give you multiple answers. Why would you not join the Murph burner track? I’m asking you that you’re listening. You’re part of the community, whether you’re actually doing the programming or you’re just a listener, either one? Or both? Why would you not join the Murph burner track?
Joe Courtney
You don’t know at all what the Murph is, which means you probably have never listened to our podcast, which means you’re probably not listening now.
Jerred Moon
Yep. So that’s a good reason. Why would you not join the merch burner track? I was gonna say, you probably hate giving money to charities, just kind of like, like, I don’t like giving money away. to those in need. It’s just not a not a thing I do.
Joe Courtney
You just want to have sexy Saturday every day.
Jerred Moon
Yep, can’t. Or you don’t plan on doing the Murph workout, which I’m going to revert back to doesn’t matter because you’re giving money to charity. And you hate that.
Joe Courtney
are all here just
Jerred Moon
circle back to that? You don’t want to do well in the workout? Is it like if you if you plan on doing Murph at the end of May on Memorial Day, you would not join them or burn track? If you don’t want to do well, yeah, I just want to you know, let the cards fall where they may, I don’t really care that if you if you’re in that camp of I would like to be bad at the workout. And I’d like to be super sore, and not have a very good time, then don’t join it. Right? Like that’d be a good reason to not join.
Joe Courtney
You are legitimately injured and you can’t do the workouts. But we will still donate your $7
Jerred Moon
Yeah, let’s revert back to donating money to a charity. And I do want to I want everybody know about the the donations in general to for the merner track. I’m going to be very transparent with how the community did. And so I want you to be aware of that. I’m not going to be like yeah, we donated some money. It was good. Thanks, guys. I will let you know and this is good, bad or ugly. I mentioned this on the other podcast too. It’s like if we have three people join and then we find out that’s what the community is about. That’s fine. Three people joined and I will let you know we donated our you know, less than 20 bucks to the Special Operations warrior foundation. But if 1000 people join or 200 people join whatever it is, I have no idea how many people end up joining. I’ve never done something like this. We’ve never done something like this. Like a big push for seeing Their donation, but I’m gonna be very transparent with you guys. So after it’s all done, so we won’t actually talk about it till June Just so you know, I mean, I might give it updates in the podcast. So just like how many people join so far, but it’s going for all of May. And that is another reason you might not join me Oh, it’s may 15. And I’m listening to this now. So two things one, go, go get them a burn check, because you’re donating to charity. And two, you get the PDF, you get the program, and you can keep it forever. And you just have access to that. So just keep that in mind that you actually are getting something that you can download, even if you can’t follow the track. Or maybe you don’t want to follow the track and you just want to have the PDF and file it away in your, your fitness folder on your computer, whatever. Yeah, so I’ll let you know how the, how the community did and how much money we raised and how many people joined and all that good stuff. Anything else? Why would someone not doing the Mirpur on track?
Joe Courtney
If they are have zero access to any internet, say hypothetically they’re climbing a mountain or something like that?
Jerred Moon
Yeah, so they wouldn’t be listening to this. So all of those not listening to this. It’s okay, that you’ve been enjoying. Now how to join if you just go to garage, gym, athlete calm. And there’ll be a banner at the top I think is gonna be the easiest place to do it. To see it. It’s also going to be in the menu. It’ll just, you’ll see there, it’ll be yellow. Have some words on it, click on it, you’ll see how to how to join the merge burner track should be fairly self explanatory for everyone. But that’s it. We really do hope that you all jokes aside, hope that you join hope you enjoy the programming, get ready for you know, some solid, some solid training and then also seeing what the community do see how much money we can actually donate to charity. I think it’d be really cool. I’m interested to see how this goes and based off its performance, it might be an annual thing or, or maybe just a one time thing. We’ll see. That’s it. If you are listening to podcasts, we would really would appreciate a five star review and a positive comment. If you’re watching on YouTube. Go ahead and subscribe, like comment, all those good things. And that is it guys. Thanks for watching or listening
