I can’t even believe it!!!
End of Three Fitness is now 5 years old!!
Now, I don’t want to blather on for thousands of words reminiscing about all things End of Three Fitness
That would be a lot of fun for me, but only a little bit of fun for you 😉
I still want this to be a useful article for YOU!
So today I want to talk about one thing: CLARITY
Now, I’ve done “birthday†articles in the past talking about End of Three Fitness
I may mention how many email subscribers we have grown to, how many visitors pass through the site each month/year, or some other useless metric.
And to be honest I don’t care about any of those numbers anymore.
I only care about ONE number.
10,000.
But before we get to that, let’s talk CLARITY.
How My Journey to Clarity Began (maybe yours too)
To me, End of Three Fitness TRULY started just a few months ago. Yeah, we’ve been around for bit — but everything up to now has been a warm up.
I’ve had a lot of great mentors over the last couple of years telling me I needed more clarity, more focus, etc.
I’d juggle too may projects and too many jobs.
It was kind of hard to avoid when I was running End of Three Fitness and still on Active Duty — but it got done.
They asked me the challenging questions like:
- What is your vision?
- What is your mission?
- What are you trying to achieve?
As far as I was concerned, those were just buzzwords, and I rarely had answers to those questions
And they ARE buzzwords if you just hammer them out and have no feeling or connection to the outcome.
To truly feel connected to those things, it takes time.
I was (and still am) just a passionate athlete, coach and programmer throwing everything I knew/know out into the world.
I didn’t have the time or desire to sit down and think about where this was all going.
But I knew it was important.
So, I read a few books
OK, I read a lot of books
Over 100+ in a little under 2 years searching for answers.
But I found it was the journey to clarity that leads to clarity, rather than a specific book.
It was asking myself the same question every day, and
wait for it
ACTUALLY devoting time to thinking about it, that lead to clarity.
If you ask yourself the same question every single day for a few years, you’ll start to come up with some pretty crazy solutions.
Or it will get very simple.
That’s what happened to me and it resulted in
10,000.
The Journey to 10,000
It’s taken me FIVE years, but I am real clear on ONE number.
10,000.
You may have noticed (or maybe not, it’s kind of new) we have a clearcut mission here at End of Three Fitness:
- Our Mission is to help build 10,000 better human beings in the next 3 years.
So let’s back up for a second
End of Three Fitness literally has millions of visitors to the site each year.
So if millions of people visit, why only 10,000?
Because to get a person to visit a website, or having thousands of people click ‘LIKE’ on Facebook vs. ACTUALLY helping someone get better AND them TELLING you that they are ACTUALLY better is VERY, very different.
We want to make an actual impact in this world.
We’ll start with 10,000 humans.
Your next question may be, so what is “better�
Better, to us, is
- Making you stronger
- Making you faster
- Making you healthier
- Making you smarter
- Making you more productive
- Making you less negative
- Helping you eat cleaner
- Helping you build a gym at home
- Helping you live life MORE!
Your next question is, how will you know if you made someone better?
Pretty simple answer: We ask.
Typically by email, but we ask.
In fact, we’ve been asking since May of this year, and if you haven’t been asked yet, you will be.
So we’ve been asking for the last 5 months and so far we have confirmed that we have helped
- 1,228 humans get better.
Whether we have helped someone crush a back squat PR, run a faster mile, eat healthier meals, lose weight, become more mentally tough; we’ve asked and so far 1,228 people have said they are now a better human being through the use of End of Three Fitness.
We’re on track.
In fact, if you and I meet in the next 3 years, and I know you follow End of Three Fitness, you can bet your ass I will shake your hand and look you in the eye and ask you one question:
Has End of Three Fitness helped you become a better human being?
And I look forward to doing that.
Now, you’ll see slight changes at End of Three Fitness as we focus more and more in on our mission.
We’ve always been here to build better humans. But how we do that, how we track that and how we focus in on that have gotten a CLARITY-OVERHAUL.
And it will make everything BETTER!
